Moving from music to acting, I love Arthur Darvill (from Doctor Who and other things) and think he's a version of the Thin White Duke thing...
Obviously these guys don't look like twins or even brothers and some of them aren't fully English by birth, but do you see what I'm talking about? And (sigh) aren't they cute?

DeleteI completely agree. I think that living in a country that is not your own makes you more sensitised to the subtle nuances of picking-up on the sartorial choices of different nationalities.....as a "Yank", I can spot the American tourists miles away by their fashion and beauty choices....this thin white duke look is VERY urban UK...particularly "down south" where you are. Up here in the highlands, I don't think the guys are as comfortable with the potential androgyny of the look.

DeleteThey are adorable! Maybe they all go to the same hairdresser… who is probably just as handsome and has hair that flops in his eyes and doesn't seem to bother him at all either, although one stray hair in my face gives me a migraine that can last for days…. How do they do it?!

DeleteAbout hair on your face, I grew up with a pulled back pony tail every day. It's taken ages for me to get used to hair around my face (and I still get sick of it and chop it all over sometimes). It's something I could gradually get used to but it doesn't sound like a good idea for you.
